The KSU University Libraries provides access to printers, photocopiers, and scanners to students, faculty, staff, and visitors at both Sturgis (ÈâÈ⴫ý) and Johnson (Marietta) libraries.

Where are the printers?
Once you print your document, you can release your job at any printer/copier on campus.
Sturgis (ÈâÈ⴫ý) Library
- Ground Floor:

How much does printing cost?
Black and White pages: $0.12 per side
Color pages: $0.56 per side

How do I pay for printing?
The printers do not accept cash for printing. In order to print or copy, you must with your Talon card. If you are a guest, you must purchase a guest card.
Guests must purchase a KCash Guest Card for $2 at a KCash machine prior to adding funds and printing.
You can add money at any KCash machine on campus, or through the web using the KCash Manager.
It may take a few minutes for KCash to appear on the account when using the KCash Manager.
KCash machines can take bills in any denomination, but they cannot accept change. There is a $5.00 minimum for credit/debit cards at the KCash machine and a $10.00 minimum using the KCash Manager. KCash machines accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. KSU libraries are unable to make change.
There are KCash machines in both libraries.
- Sturgis (ÈâÈ⴫ý) Library- located on the ground floor next to the self-check-out kiosk and across from the Research Help Desk.
- Johnson (Marietta) Library- located on the brick wall next to the Ricoh printers/copiers on main level.

Can I get a refund for pages that did not print correctly?
If you experience an issue that results in the loss of funds or unusable pages, please contact KSU Printing Services for a refund. Front desk staff at the library cannot give refunds.
How to Print
- Log on to a computer with your NetID and password.
- When you are ready to print, select Student-Print-BW for black and white print jobs ($0.12 per side) or Student-Print-Color for color print jobs ($0.56 per side).
- Go to any Ricoh copier/printer.If you are printing black and white, you can use any machine. For color, you must use a color machine. Signs at the machines indicate BW or color.
- Tap your Talon card on the SmartCard Reader on the side of printer.
- Select the print job(s) you wish to print.
- Press the [Print] button.
- Tap your Talon card on the SmartCard Reader to log out.

- Log in with your NetID and password.
- Select [Upload], find/select your file and select [open].
- Check the box next to the uploaded document to specify printing options (ie , how many copies, color or BW). Please note: print jobs with any color content that are sent to the color printer will be charged for color.
- Tap your talon card on the SmartCard Reader on the side of printer.
- Select the print job(s) you wish to print.
- Press the [Print] button on the screen.
- Tap your talon card on the SmartCard Reader to log out.
Before you can print or copy, you must purchase and activate a Guest Card for $2 and then add funds to the Guest Card for printing.
- Log on to a guest computer. There is no login information.
- When you are ready to print, select Guest-Print-BW for black and white print jobs
($0.12 per side) or Guest-Print-Color for color print jobs ($0.56 per side).
- Please note that Guest Printing is ONLY available in Black and White at Sturgis (ÈâÈ⴫ý).
- A pop-up should appear. Enter the Guest Card Number on the back of the Guest Card in the first field. Leave the password field blank and select “Print.â€
- Go to the guest printer.
- Slide your Guest Card through the reader on the left side of printer.
- Select the print job(s) you wish to print.
- Press the [Print] button after selecting your print job(s).
- Slide your Guest Card through the card reader to log out.
Scanning
Scanning is available at both libraries:
