The KSU MAcc Degree Helps Jump-Start Your Career 

Our Capstone courses help you focus on your immediate and longer-term career needs. You will have opportunities to attend conferences, professional meetings, case competitions, and other events designed to help you begin to develop professional relationships. 

  • Last year we placed 100% of our MAcc students by mid-October. Our students take public accounting positions with Big 4, national, regional, and local firms. In addition, some accept governmental and corporate positions. We have dedicated staff to help students find their ideal jobs.
  • We have partnered with the Institute of Internal Auditors to connect you with a Chief Audit Executive (CAE), Audit Firm Partner, or Corporate Tax Executive at a top Atlanta company. Your coach is there to help you identify and develop your career goals. Coaches have included CAEs from Apple, Coca-Cola, Delta, Home Depot, and many other companies. 
  • You will be assigned a MAcc Buddy (peer mentor) who has recently completed the program. Your MAcc Buddy will be your guide as you get ready to attend Orientation, start classes, and take your first parts of the CPA Exam.
