re:loom employs and empowers formerly homeless and low-income individuals who weave beautifully-designed products out of recycled materials. A program of the Initiative for Affordable Housing, a nonprofit organization in metro Atlanta, re:loom's mission is to provide job training and affordable housing to individuals while reducing textile waste. BRAC University

The students that founded OwlSwap started an ongoing research project with Professor Shahidur Rahman and students at BRAC University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Through our partnerships, we have interviewed garment workers and workers with the AWAJ Foundation, an organization that works to advance the rights of garment workers in Bangladesh.
