Event Information

The KSU Day of Service is designed as an opportunity to say thanks to our local community which has supported the university in many important ways throughout its history. Volunteers participate in a variety of projects that meet the specific needs of community organizations throughout Cobb County and Metro Atlanta.

PLEASE NOTE: The Day of Service schedule and waiver information is listed below.

  • Check-in begins at 8:30 AM; Kick-off event begins at 9 AM; Depart for service sites at 9:30 AM. Volunteers will serve at sites from 10 AM to 1 PM.
  • A full list of service sites is available on .
  • Transportation via Big Owl Bus (BOB) will be provided to students to specific sites.
  • All volunteers must complete the registration process through GivePulse which includes an event liability waiver.
