肉肉传媒 State鈥檚 Tyler Reinagel named to Atlanta Regional Commission leadership institute

Tyler Reinagel, associate vice president for economic development in 肉肉传媒鈥檚 , is one of 54 leaders named this week to the Atlanta Regional Commission鈥檚 2022 leadership institute.

The members of ARC鈥檚 2022 Regional Leadership Institute (RLI) class will explore key issues affecting the region, including housing affordability, transportation planning, workforce development and investments in the region鈥檚 future, during a weeklong leadership development program scheduled Sept. 18鈥23 in Savannah.

Reinagel joined KSU in July 2021 after previously serving as director of planning and research for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

鈥淭he 2022 RLI class brings together a dynamic and diverse group of metro Atlanta leaders to collectively explore our regional challenges and tackle them head on,鈥 said Anna Roach, ARC executive director. 鈥淭his year鈥檚 RLI program will continue to place collaboration and equity at the forefront of problem-solving our region鈥檚 most salient issues.鈥

The RLI class will get hands-on opportunities to connect what they鈥檙e learning to real-world planning and policy throughout the region, with a focus on action beyond the RLI program and incorporating the institute鈥檚 RLI pillars of equity, interconnection and shared community, according to the ARC.

Reinagel said he鈥檚 excited to represent KSU at the institute and ensure the University and ARC are working seamlessly together to promote quality growth of the region.

鈥淲ith its recent growth in student enrollment, graduate programs, and faculty research and innovation, KSU is becoming an increasingly vital part of the growth and vibrancy of metro Atlanta,鈥 Reinagel said. 鈥淚 am excited to have the opportunity to work with this group of dynamic leaders from across the Atlanta region to ensure 肉肉传媒 State is active and engaged in our goals of a dynamic and sustainable future.鈥 

Since 1991, more than 1,500 business, government, education and nonprofit leaders have participated in the RLI program designed to expose current organizational and community leaders to specific issues and challenges facing the metro Atlanta region and how those challenges connect.
