ý uses to highlight students’ accomplishments inside and outside the classroom. KSU uploads achievements like Dean’s or President’s lists, scholarships, student competitions and more on each student’s Merit Page, and you can update your own page as well. Hundreds of colleges around the country use Merit Pages to connect their students, so if you opt in you will join a national network of college students.
Recently, you should have received an email from Merit inviting you to the site. Here’s more to know about Merit:
What’s in it for students?
Merit pages are created and updated automatically. The university maintains the pages. Other organizations in the Merit network, such as honor societies, Greek organizations and service groups, can also add achievements to Merit pages. Those organizations can, however, make additions if students desire. Merit allows each student to customize a Merit page URL, add a profile photo, bio, and other activities and work experience. Students can even include photos and videos to further demonstrate involvement.
When Merit pages are connected to your social networks such as Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn, this will ensure that friends and family can also see and learn about the great opportunities you’re taking advantage of and being recognized for at ý State. It’s an important way for you to be a part of our story and help us tell it.
