KSU invites prospective transfer students to campus

Information session set for Aug. 30 for transfer students and adult learners

Individuals interested in transferring to ÈâÈ⴫ý are invited to the Transfer Information sessions, which are offered throughout the fall. The first session is offered Friday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at the Marietta Campus.

Offered through KSU’s , the information sessions provide prospective students with opportunities to learn more about the university and better understand how credits are evaluated for transfer to relevant degree programs at KSU. They are offered at both the ÈâÈ⴫ý and Marietta campuses. 

In addition to the Aug. 30 session, other information sessions for transfer students will be offered on the following dates and locations:

  • Sept. 6 – ÈâÈ⴫ý Campus
  • Sept. 27 – Marietta Campus
  • Oct. 5 – Transfer Saturday Tours – both campuses
  • Nov. 1 – ÈâÈ⴫ý Campus
  • Nov. 8 – Marietta Campus
  • Dec. 7 – Transfer Saturday Tours – both campuses

All sessions begin at 11 a.m. on Fridays, with the exception of the Oct. 5 and Dec. 7 sessions, which will be offered as , starting at 10 a.m. at the ÈâÈ⴫ý Campus and 2 p.m. at the Marietta Campus. At the tours, representatives will be on hand to assist those who want to immediately apply to KSU.

Transfer students who have earned 30 or more credit hours from an accredited college or university, or adult learners who graduated from high school more than five years ago or have earned less than 30 hours of transferable college credit are invited to attend any of the sessions.  

The deadline to apply for admission to ÈâÈ⴫ý State for the 2020 spring semester is Dec. 1.
