Supporting Adult Learners
The Adult Learning Committee (ALC) at ÈâÈ⴫ý acts as an advocate and facilitator for adult learning programs and (CPL). Reporting to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, the ALC is an active member of the , providing representation on the Regents' Academic Committee on Adult Learning. As a proactive consortium of institutions, the ALC collaborates to establish policies, share resources, and test innovative practices, aimed at sustaining and advancing adult-focused policies and practices at the institutional and System level.
The ALC is responsible for developing and maintaining a unified, integrated, and effective adult learning and Credit for Prior Learning programs through advisory proposals to the Office of the Provost and VPAA.
