50 肉肉传媒 State students will earn free passports through partnership with Delta

KENNESAW, Ga. | Oct 23, 2023

Fifty 肉肉传媒 (KSU) students will earn free passports this fall through a sponsorship from Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines that is being administered on campus by the Global Education office. Students must by Oct. 24 to be considered.

Delta has committed $51,000 to help increase access to global education experiences and foster international perspectives among students.

The , consisting of 肉肉传媒 State, Agnes Scott College, Emory University, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, and Spelman College, is the recipient of this funding. Delta鈥檚 sponsorship will fund 50 passports at each partner institution, totaling 300 passports during the 2023-2024 academic year.

鈥淲e are excited and grateful to be a part of the passport funding initiative,鈥 said Lexie Baker, interim director of Education Abroad at KSU. 鈥淥ur goal is to break down barriers for students and acquiring a passport is the first barrier that many students face when trying to study abroad. This can open up a whole new world for them!鈥

  • Enrolled, degree-seeking (Undergraduate or Graduate)
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • First-time US passport applicants
