Career and Academic Opportunities

Integrated Health Science majors complete courses in biomedical ethics, healthcare policy, economics of healthcare, and healthcare innovation. They have strong communication, critical thinking, and interprofessional collaboration skills. The MSCM provides a valuable opportunity for IHS majors to apply and enhance these skills as they relate to conflict management and to use these skills in a variety of health care careers. These include patient care advocates, crisis coordinators, mediator, health coach, human resource liaison, and health care development specialist.
