Integrated Health Science majors complete courses in biomedical ethics, healthcare policy, economics of healthcare, and healthcare innovation. They have strong communication, critical thinking, and interprofessional collaboration skills. The MS DSA provides a valuable opportunity for IHS majors to enhance their applied statistical methods used in health care for process and quality improvement.

Double Owl Admission Requirements 
  • 3.25 GPA in KSU coursework
  • A "C" or better in MATH 1190, MATH 2202, STAT 1401, and STAT 3125
  • Declaration of the Applied Statistics and Analytics Minor
  • 60 hours towards the bachelor's degree

Double Counted Courses Include

  • STAT 7100 to count for Upper Division Major Elective
  • STAT 7020 to count for Upper Division Major Elective
  • STAT 7XXX (any STAT Elective) to count for Upper Division Major Elective
