Learn to Utilize AI and Stay Productive

Faculty at KSU need to be prepared to use Generative AI appropriately for productivity and with their students in class. Familiarity with AI will help faculty to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, better prepare students for the evolving job market, and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration and research. It also positions faculty to address the ethical and societal implications of AI, fostering a more comprehensive and forward-thinking educational experience.

  • Faculty wanting to use Artificial Intelligence to improve productivity in grading, writing, and research should be cautious entering student data or intellectual property into these systems. To ensure data security and FERPA compliance, faculty should use Microsoft's Copilot once signed in using their KSU Microsoft credentials (NetID).
