The Materials Science research interest group at ÈâÈ⴫ý (KSU) uses integrative research methods to face some of our most pressing scientific challenges, ranging from the role of supramolecular structures in catalysis and in functional materials, photoluminescent coinage metal clusters for OLED (organic/molecular light emitting diodes) applications, biopolymers and protein/polymer interactions, energy storage/conversion, exploration of optical properties of photonic structures, low-dimensional materials such as graphene, TMDC (transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers), quantum dots, and nanotubes, to microplastics.
