The Diseases in Humans and Model Systems research interest group at ÈâÈ⴫ý (KSU) has research interests in a wide variety of diseases, including Candidiasis, sarcopenia, neurological disorders, and African trypanosomiasis. We work with animal models as well as human cell cultures and biopsied material. Our aim is to understand disease mechanisms and aid in the development of mathematical models, treatments, or cures of infectious and congenital human diseases.
